Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 31, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to Shorts Engine ("the tool"), a service operated by studioauraweb ("we", "our") — a personal automation tool run by a single individual developer. It uploads short-form video content to YouTube channels that the developer owns. This policy explains what data the tool accesses and how it is used.

Who this applies to

Shorts Engine is not a public product. It has no end users, no sign-up flow, and no accounts other than the developer's own. This policy is published to describe the tool's data practices for transparency and for Google API verification purposes.

Data we access

Shorts Engine connects to a single Google account (the developer's own) using OAuth 2.0, and requests the following YouTube Data API scopes:

The tool does not access, request, or store data belonging to any Google account other than the developer's own. It does not collect personal data from any third party or end user, because it has none.

Google API Services User Data Policy. Shorts Engine's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How data is stored

OAuth credentials (client ID, client secret, and refresh token) issued for the developer's own YouTube channels are stored locally in a private configuration file on the developer's own machine. They are never transmitted to, or accessible by, any third party. No video content, metadata, or account data is stored on any server operated by us beyond what is necessary to perform the upload itself.

Data we do not collect

Hosting

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process standard infrastructure logs (such as IP address and request metadata) as part of delivering this site, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy. We do not have access to, and do not use, this data ourselves.

Changes to this policy

If this tool's data practices change, this page will be updated and the effective date above will reflect the most recent revision.
